For much of the middle of the 20th century, the Heidelberg Windmill was the printing press to own. Now they can be purchased for as little as $2,000 plus shipping. I have one in my garage. It’s still a great machine. I purchased it from a foil stamping company here in the Los Angeles area. It took a bit of work to get it up and running, but it’s printing now and it allows me to print my own stationery, our Christmas cards, and fun things like business cards and birth announcements for friends.
